Position Overview:

An established peer-review and compliance organization is seeking a candidate with experience in billing and coding with a claims background for a Claims Specialist- Healthcare Insurance Professional role. The position supports independent dispute resolutions through CMS (Center for Medicaid Services). Experience with multispecialty coding and billing is highly preferred.

2+ years of insurance company experience
Understanding of claims processing and payer guidelines.

Skills:

Strong analytical skills
Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement
Excellent communication abilities

Review claims for accuracy and compliance.
Assist with appeals and disputes.
Interpret payer policies and communicate updates.
Identify reimbursement trends and risks.
Support the revenue cycle and compliance team.
