CDL GRADS & EXPERIENCED DRIVERS – EAST COAST RUNS
Just got your CDL and need a real start? Or already have time and want steady regional miles? Read this.
New drivers start OTR/Regional with a trainer pulling 53' dry van. Training runs 4–6 weeks. If you've got 6 months or more, you don't need a trainer.
This is 100% no-touch dry van.
You'll be out two weeks at a time, then home. Expect about 2,500 miles a week. You need to be good running days or nights depending on freight.
Pay (plain and simple):
- Training pay: $650/week until hours are done
- After training: 55–65 CPM based on experience
- Weekly average: $1,200–$1,400
- $15 per stop pay
- Full benefits after 30 days Medical, dental, 401k, PTO
Orientation:
Closest hub to where you live (safety/processor decides)
You qualify if:
- 21+ with a valid Class A CDL
- CDL school graduate from accredited truck driving school and completed 120 hrs
- Licensed and driving for at least 12 straight months
- Clean record (no at-fault wrecks, major tickets, or suspensions in last 5 years)
- No safety terminations
- No DUI in the last 5 years (max 1 in a lifetime if before CDL)
- Criminal history reviewed case by case
- No big work gaps recently
- Can pass urine + hair drug test
