What You'll Be Doing
Conduct comprehensive pre and post-shift vehicle and equipment inspections, and take appropriate action on encountered problemsLoad, unload and transport pipe, Butane, and other Y grade hazardous liquidsSample, test, and purchase crude oil using onboard equipment at designated locationsEnsure accurate documentation, product integrity, and regulatory compliance during all operationsUtilize any on-board computer terminals to accurately record locations visited and products handled and ensure any additional paperwork is complete, neat, and legibleReport incidents (operational and/or safety-related), as instructed, in a timely mannerContain and report any spill according to the established Occurrence Reporting proceduresTake an active role in our safety program, including attendance at all safety meetings and ensuring safe behaviors of self and subordinates
Job Requirements
Class A CDLHazardous materials and tanker endorsements preferred1+ year of CDL Experience, preferably in an oilfield environmentA commitment to work without an occurrence; no spills, no injuries and no property damageCan successfully pass Savage's road test, which will include a proper pre- and post-trip inspection of the vehicleComfortable working in an oilfield environment, including climbing ladders and stairs to the top of tanks, and working around flammable gases and other toxic fumesMust be willing to work days/nights/holidaysHigh School Diploma/GED
Physical Requirements
Climb into and out of the cab multiple times per shiftApply snow chains to tiresClimb ladders and work at heights when neededLift 50+ pounds occasionallyWork and drive in adverse weather conditions
