Job Description
Class a CDL doubles endorsement required:
- Desperado Trucking Inc. is seeking Class A CDL drivers with a doubles endorsement to join our team. As an established FedEx Ground contractor for over 22 years, we offer flexible scheduling with 7-day operations, predictable night routes, and guaranteed daily home time.
Open Positions:
- Dover, DE: 1 Full-Time Driver (Dedicated route to Lewisberry, PA and return)
- Seaford, DE: 1 Full-Time Driver & 2 Part-Time Drivers (Dedicated route to Hagerstown, MD and return)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Earnings: $65,000 – $80,000 annually ($890 – $1,540 weekly; $177.75 – $325.00 daily). Paid via direct deposit (W-2).
- Sign-On Bonus: Up to $1,200 for full-time positions (paid quarterly following evaluations).
- Benefits: Health, dental, vision, and life insurance available at hire.
- Paid: Holiday pay available after 6 months; paid vacation after 1 year.
- erks: No-touch freight (99% drop & hook), extra pay for drop & hooks or optional trailer spot pick-ups, and assigned trucks.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: 1 year of verifiable Class A combination driving experience in the last 3 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years. (FedEx waives 6 months for DEL-Tech Truck Driving School graduates).
- Licensing: Valid Class A CDL with doubles endorsement. (Training is provided if you do not have doubles experience).
- Screening: Valid DOT physical card, good driving record, and ability to pass a 7-year background check.
