Job Description
Location: Portland, OR (97211)FT/PT Status: Full -Time (Five Days A Week)
Shift: Night - (6:00pm Start)
Hourly Rate: $25.00 to $29.00 (DOE – Depending on Experience)

Class A Hostler Duties at United Salad Company:
- Interacting with dispatch and quickly communicating truck assignments when requested.
- Ensuring truck fleet is fueled and ready to go out on their route
- Safely place trucks into locations throughout the yard.
- Make shuttle runs to distribution centers when necessary.
- Drop and hook trucks in preparation for going out on a route.
- Promotes & maintains a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented & customer-focused attitude with co-workers & other departments.
- All other duties as requested or assigned.
We are currently seeking motivated Class A drivers who embody the following qualities:
- 3-5 years of Class A Driving Experience.
- Valid Class A CDL and medical card.
- Demonstrated ability to drive a manual stick shift.
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to read and follow instructions.
- Clean motor vehicle driving record. Must be 21 years of age or older.
- All job offers for this position are contingent upon passing a criminal background check, drug screen, and company road test.
