Job Description
Night Shift Warriors Wanted! Join the Meijer team as a dedicated CDL-A driver and earn up to $70K annually with daily home time!
$1000 Sign-On Bonus: $500 first load, $500 at 30 days
Job Highlights:- Home daily (5 days on, 2 days off)- Average weekly earnings: $1350 (potential for more)- $100/day paid training (1-day ride along)- No-touch freight (mostly)- Newer model day cab trucks (slip-seat operation)
Route Details:- Deliver dry and refrigerated freight to Meijer stores- Service areas: OH, KY, IN (mostly within 250 miles of DC)- Average 2000 miles per week- Night shifts only (weekends and holidays required)- Mix of live unload and drop & hook
Pay Structure:- Base pay: $0.57-$0.65/mile (based on experience)- Stop pay: $20 per stop after first stop- Backhaul pay: $51.50- Holiday pay: $75 (when working the holiday)
Requirements:- Valid CDL-A license- Minimum 3 months of driving experience- Must live within 50 miles of Tipp City, OH (ZIP 45371)- Personal transportation to/from DC daily- Flexibility for night and weekend shifts
