PROFILE

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Client Executive to help expand TriMech's presence across the Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civilian Agencies, and Government Prime Contractors. This role is ideal for a mid-career sales professional with experience navigating government procurement processes, developing customer relationships, and translating technical solutions into mission-focused outcomes.

The successful candidate will possess working knowledge of Federal acquisition terminology, contract vehicles, and government buying cycles and be comfortable engaging program managers, engineers, contracting personnel, and executive stakeholders. The Client Executive will plan and carry out sales activities with small, medium, and large accounts within a defined territory.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

Someone who previously worked for a government-focused technology reseller, systems integrator, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partner, Value-Added Reseller (VAR), or defense contractor and already understands the language of government sales, acquisition processes, and Department of Defense (DoD) organizations-but is still in the growth stage of their career and eager to expand their responsibilities and territory.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute account growth strategies across assigned Federal and Department of Defense (DoD) accounts.
  • Expand sales in our installed base while developing opportunities in new government clients.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities for engineering, digital transformation, advanced manufacturing, and software solutions.
  • Initiate sales activities to inspire, educate, and develop account relationships for SOLIDWORKS, select Dassault products, and other TriMech solutions.
  • Monitor Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), and other government procurement opportunities.
  • Support the full sales lifecycle, including opportunity identification, pipeline management, quoting, proposal support, and contract award.
  • Build relationships with government end users, program offices, contracting organizations, and industry partners.
  • Introduce and integrate TriMech technical subject matter experts, Dassault resources, and Solution Partner resources to demonstrate customer-focused capabilities.
  • Work closely with channel partners, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and strategic partners to drive revenue growth.
  • Attend industry conferences, seminars, trade shows, training, and customer events to generate new business opportunities and develop relevant market knowledge.
  • Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries by telephone, email, video meeting, and personal visits.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, account documentation, activity reports, and 30-60-90-day plans within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce.
  • Present solutions to customers and prospects using Microsoft (MS) PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and related tools.
  • Continually engage with clients and prospects within assigned territory and maintain quota as assigned by the Government Sales Director.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-10 years of business development, account management, or sales experience supporting Federal, Department of Defense (DoD), or Aerospace & Defense customers.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience and verifiable track record selling technical products, software, engineering services, manufacturing solutions, or related technologies.
  • Understanding government procurement processes and acquisition terminology.
  • Ability to develop relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams.
  • Demonstrable professional sales skills and solid references.
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar tools.
  • Innovative, "make it happen" attitude with the ability to meet aggressive sales goals.
  • Reliable means of transportation, valid driver's license, and ability to travel within assigned region.
  • Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office products.

Desirables

  • Experience supporting organizations such as the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), or Federal Civilian Agencies.
  • Familiarity with Federal acquisition and contracting concepts, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), General Services Administration (GSA) Schedules, Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, Other Transaction Authority (OTA) agreements, Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs, Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) environments.
