Job Description Summary
The Finance Manager, FP&A serves as a strategic finance partner to account leadership, operations, and clients by delivering forward‑looking financial insights, analysis, and decision support. This role leads planning and forecasting activities and leverages advanced analytics and emerging technologies, including AI‑enabled tools, to translate high‑volume financial data into clear, actionable insights and reporting that support informed decision‑making by clients and Account Leadership.
The Finance Manager, FP&A may provide functional leadership to an analyst and contribute significantly to improving financial discipline, transparency, and value delivery across the account.
Job Description
Essential Job Duties:
- Lead annual planning, forecasting, and long-range financial modeling for client account
- Develop and maintain financial models supporting budgeting, reforecasting, scenario analysis, and investment decisions
- Analyze variances versus plan and forecast; clearly explain drivers and implications to stakeholders
- Design, prepare, and deliver comprehensive financial reporting packages and dashboards for account leadership and clients
- Function as a trusted financial advisor to account leadership and operations teams
- Translate complex financial and operational data into clear narratives and recommendations for non-finance audiences
- Support client meetings, quarterly business reviews, and strategic planning discussions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, operations, lease administration, and corporate finance teams
- Provide day-to-day guidance and coaching to Financial Analyst, as applicable
- Review analytical work products to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency with FP&A standards
- Lead or contribute to special projects, process improvements, and analytics initiatives
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, forecasting, and planning processes
- Strong understanding of core accounting concepts, including accruals, reversals, capitalization, and the distinction between expenses and balance sheet transactions, and how these impact financial statements
Education/Experience/Training:
- College degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
Work Experience:
- Five to seven years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles
- Experience supporting multiple stakeholders, clients, or business units preferred
- Specialized Knowledge/Skills - Experience with Yardi or other real estate accounting software preferred, Strong Excel, BI Analytics, and other MS Office tools.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $ 97,750.00 - $115,000.00
