Job Description

Preferred Care at Home, an award winning in-home care company based in Hendersonville, TN is looking to hire a Client Intake Coordinator.

Job Description

  • Work alongside and under the direction of the Director of Marketing

  • Meet with at least 6 families each week to answer questions, build relationships, explain our services, and ultimately sign up new families for care

  • Record accurate notes about those visits and input the appropriate information into our tracking system

  • Coordinate the start of care and the unique needs of each family with other office staff to ensure smooth handoff from sales to operations

  • Proactively call warm leads we receive to schedule your own appointments

  • Consistently follow up with families who weren’t ready to start care to support them and stay top of mind

  • Assist Director of Marketing with occasional community and other marketing events and other ad hoc requests

  • Keep up with weekly records of contacts made to contribute to weekly metrics. 

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills. 

  • A drive for excellence in all aspects of work performance

  • A natural drive to perform at a high level and help achieve company goals and objectives
  • Warm demeanor combined with a desire to help people

  • Strong ethic of teamwork

  • Experience in the senior industry such as funeral, social work, nursing, memory care, home health, hospice, etc.
  • You resonate strongly with our core values. 1. Do the right things for the right reasons. 2. Leave people better than you found them. 3. Take Ownership. 4. Look for and share goodness. 5. Be humble and teachable

Strongly Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent patience in dealing with various family dynamics
  • Some experience with sales

  • Comfortable with technology

  • Knowledge in the area of dementia
