Who We Are

Located in Plymouth Meeting, PA, Hickory Veterinary & Specialty Hospital is a multi-service facility offering general practice, 24/7 emergency care, and specialty services including internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, and more. We also provide boarding, daycare, grooming, and rehabilitation.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you are often the first and last point of contact for our clients and play an essential role in ensuring a seamless experience. In this role, you will:

  • Welcome clients and patients warmly, providing a positive first impression
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and schedule appointments efficiently
  • Assist with check-ins and check-outs for emergency, specialty, and general practice services
  • Guide clients through treatment plans, billing, and discharge instructions
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all client information is up-to-date
  • Collaborate closely with doctors, technicians, and fellow CSRs to keep hospital operations running smoothly
  • Provide clear, compassionate communication — especially in emergency or emotional situations
  • Help manage a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
  • Demonstrate the ability to encourage and motivate team members
  • Have a responsible and respectful attitude
  • Responsible for the distributing workload/tasks with efficiency in mind
  • Take on special projects assigned by management
  • Take part in the interview process for CSR candidates
  • Take part in of leadership team meetings to address internal concerns and growth development
  • Help with training protocols, change procedures, and follow up
  • De-escalation training
  • Analyze and adjust team member schedules as needed to best provide coverage for our internal and external customers
  • Appropriately escalate team member or client concerns upwards and provide feedback in regard to shifting work priorities or changes to team members in a timely manner
  • Provide immediate feedback to the Director of Client Experience regarding team performance, policies, and procedures

Anticipated Schedule

This is a full-time position with the following set schedules available:

  • Sunday, Monday, Tuesday: 8:00am- 8:00 pm

  • Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 8:00am- 6:00pm

Compensation

  • Starting at $25.00/hour
