Who We Are

Pawnee Mental Health is a mission-driven, non-profit Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) serving 10 counties across North-Central Kansas. We provide behavioral health services to children and families who need support the most, and we are actively seeking compassionate professionals who want meaningful, hands-on work in their community.

We are proud of our team-oriented culture, where every role matters and every employee plays a part in helping clients build healthier, more stable lives.

Why Our Client Support Providers Matter

As a Client Support Provider, you will work directly with both youth and adults who are experiencing mental health or behavioral health challenges that impact their daily functioning. In this role, you will provide skill-building, emotional support, and peer-based encouragement to help individuals build stability, independence, and confidence in their lives.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-based work, values recovery-focused care, and wants a position that feels meaningful at the end of each day.

What You'll Do as a Client Support Provider:

  • Provide direct services and peer support to children and adults in homes, schools, and community settings
  • Develop and implement individual and group activities based on person-centered treatment plans
  • Support clients in managing triggers, stressors, and crisis situations to promote safety and independence
  • Advocate for client rights, dignity, and community inclusion while supporting medication compliance as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation, participate in supervision and trainings, and coordinate schedules and transportation

What We Offer

We value the work you do and provide strong compensation and benefits in return.

  • Up to $2,000 annually in bonus pay by meeting client care expectations

  • Competitive compensation package, including salary, bonus potential, and benefits

Benefits include:

  • Medical and Vision Insurance through BCBS or Aetna, with single coverage typically $50 to $100 per month
  • Dental Insurance, 100 percent employer-paid
  • KPERS Retirement with a lifetime pension program
  • Life Insurance up to 150 percent of annual salary and long-term disability at no cost
  • Eight paid holidays each year
  • Generous PTO starting at 12 days per year and increasing to 18 days after your first anniversary
  • Paid Medical Leave with a 40-hour bank available immediately upon hire
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Optional supplemental benefits including additional life insurance, short-term disability, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and ambulance transportation

Why Work With Us?

At Pawnee, our employees are our greatest strength. As a Client Support Provider, your compassion, lived experience, and dedication directly shape the lives of children, adults, and families in our communities.

You will receive strong training, ongoing support, and opportunities to grow within a mission-driven organization that truly values its people. Your voice, experience, and commitment to recovery matter here.

If you are looking for a meaningful role where your work makes a visible difference, we encourage you to apply.
