- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for orthodontic procedures.
- Assist the doctor with patient treatment, positioning instruments, and handling orthodontic appliances. Educate patients on treatment plans, post-procedure care, and oral hygiene.
- Manage patient scheduling and assist with front-office tasks as needed.
- Support dentists and staff with treatment planning, billing, and insurance matters.
- Ensure accurate submission of expenses and invoices.
- Maintain office inventory, including supplies and equipment.
- Address patient and employee concerns professionally.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Current, valid, and unrestricted state license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program.
- OR -One year of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant.
- CPR card.- Certified Dental Assistant required (DANB)
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents.
