Job Description
Health Advocates Network is currently seeking an Endodontic Dental Assistant to work at a facility in Virginia Beach, VA.Pay Rate: $35 / hourDuties: Job Summary As an Endodontic Dental Assistant you will play a critical role in root canal and relater treatments by preparing treatment rooms, assisting the endodontist during procedures, supporting patient care, and handling related administrative responsibilities. Job Responsibilities: -Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control.- Assist the endodontist during root canal and related procedures, including suction, irrigation, and passing instruments.- Take and process dental radiographs/CBCT scans, review patient histories, and document treatment notes accurately.- Educate and support patients before, during and after procedures, including clear post- op instructions.- Coordinate with front office on scheduling, referrals, and follow-up communication with patients and referring to dentists.- Manage supplies and equipment, including inventory ordering and upkeep of endodontic materials.- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and safety regulations while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment.nullSkills: Required Skills & Experience: -See education section for requirements.- Experience as an Endodontics Assistant.Preferred Skills & Experience: -Familiarity with dental software and charting systems.Required Skills & Experience: -See education section for requirements.- Experience as an Endodontics Assistant.Preferred Skills & Experience: -Familiarity with dental software and charting systems.Education: Required Education:- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program.
