Job Title: Clinical Manager- Dialysis Nurse

Location: Hobbs, NM

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dialysis Clinical Manager to oversee the operations of our dialysis center in Hobbs, NM. As a Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for managing both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis departments. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of top-notch care and maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction.

The Kidney Care Center in Hobbs provides Hemodialysis MWF 3 shifts, and has a strong PD program that continues to grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day clinical operations of both the hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis departments.
  • Supervise and mentor clinical staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans and patient outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, equipment, and supplies necessary for dialysis treatment.
  • Oversee the implementation of quality improvement initiatives and patient education programs.
  • Act as a resource and support for patients and their families, addressing their concerns and questions.
  • Prepare and submit reports on clinic performance and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the clinic.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate staff members. Providing ongoing support and professional development opportunities to ensure staff meetings and in-services elevate your staff performance.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages growth, teamwork, and open communication.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, their families, and the local community.
  • Support the clinical staff to ensure patient treatments are uninterrupted.

What we are looking for

  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid and active state nursing license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in the dialysis field.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with previous experience in a clinical or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records and reports.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft OFFICE, WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT.

  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
