Job Description

Title: Pharmacy Technician 1

Location: Sacramento, CA, 95834

Duration: 2 Months (Extension yes, Conversion yes, but not guaranteed)

Shift: M-F 8:30am to 5pm PST

PR: $25-26/HR

Summary:

To help with transition from SM to SM cloud.

Key Responsibilities

Interact with various departments to provide accurately dispensed prescriptions on a timely basis
Work under direct supervision of a pharmacist
Perform prescription data entry functions (preQA) by viewing images and inputting prescription information directly into the system
Initiate clarification requests
Receive verbal instructions from prescribers as allowed by pharmacy regulation
Complete reorder processing for the timely filling of prescription refills
Comply with safety, quality assurance, accreditation, legal, state, and federal regulatory requirements, and company policies
Complete work list according to guidelines set by Manager
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.
Prepare and submit request for prescription refills
Picking RX's, packaging, and shipping them.
Expect to work as a team and pull your own weight.
No patient interaction, no insurance, good group of coworkers

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
State Pharmacy Technician license
1 year minimum Pharm Tech exp
