Position Summary:
The Clinical Communications Specialist will provide essential support to the guidelines and mentoring programs. This role encompasses a variety of administrative, logistical, and operational responsibilities to ensure the smooth execution of the programs. They will maintain budgets, track program documentation, coordinate meetings, and communicate with stakeholders in an effective and timely manner. The role will be responsible for the creation of various education materials for dissemination to the CF community. Coordinate activities and projects related to clinical programs, ensuring alignment with Foundation goals and timelines.
Assist in the development, distribution, and tracking of program-related materials and communications.
Collaborate with procurement to process reimbursements and honorarium, and maintain program budgets, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to financial protocols.
Organize and maintain programmatic files, including tracking key documents, and maintaining up-to-date records.
Provide logistical support for meetings, training sessions, and events, including scheduling, preparation of materials, and follow-up.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among program participants, staff, external collaborators, and interested parties.
Support the creation and implementation of operational procedures to improve program efficiency.
Monitor and report on program metrics and deliverables.
Completes other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant professional experience which may include internships.
Work experience in a medical field preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other data analysis software as needed.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to coordinate multiple projects and effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to comprehend medical literature.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the Senior Manager, Practice Guidelines. No direct reports.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, and temperature.
No heavy lifting required.
Some travel may be required.

The hourly range is $34.45 to $43.13.
