What You’ll Do

The Clinical Educator Generalist is a clinically-trained individual in the healthcare field with advanced experience and knowledge of the skills and competencies required in a clinical environment (hospital or clinic). A passion for and experience in education is preferred. 

The Clinical Education Generalist collaborates with the Education Team to identify skills development needs across the organization and designs curriculum and learning opportunities around those needs. Creates, assigns, and tracks annual competencies. 

• Designs and conducts educational programs for clinical staff.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of new and ongoing programs.
• Participates in ongoing improvement of educational projects across the organization.
• Helps organize and teach at annual skills fairs and other educational events.
• Assists with onboarding programs for new staff members and other programs to keep existing staff up-to-date on skills and competencies.

Must possess knowledge in both traditional and modern methods of training and development. Assists with other educational projects as organized by the Education team.

The Clinical Education Generalist will obtain their BLS Instructor Certification within one year of obtaining the position. Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

Who We’re Looking For

• Clinical education or training required (e.g., MA, RN, LPN, CNA, EMT).
• Must have a current American Heart Association approved BLS card within 3 months of initial employment and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.

• Pay Range:
  • Certified Nurse Assistant:$19.50 - $30.19/hour (based on experience)
  • Medical Assistant: $20.50 - $30.29/hour (based on experience)
  • Licensed Practical Nurse: $26.00 - $31.00/hour (based on experience)
  • Registered Nurse:$30.50 - $50.00 /hour (based on experience)
• Shift Differentials: $2–$4/hour for nights and weekends

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
