Job Summary

Responsible for managing and coordinating specific clinical programs or services. This position involves overseeing nursing staff, implementing program initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in alignment with organizational goals.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical programs or services, ensuring alignment with the hospital's mission and strategic objectives.
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff within the program.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff assigned to the program.
  • Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives related to the program, analyzing performance metrics and driving continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals from various disciplines, including physicians, social workers, and therapists, to provide comprehensive care within the program.
  • Collect and analyze relevant data related to program outcomes and performance.
  • Prepare regular reports for leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

Education Bachelor's Degree Nursing required and Master's Degree Nursing preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Registered Nurse [RN- State License] - Generic- HR Only required Experience Clinical experience with a background in program management 5-7 years required and Leadership and management experience 3-5 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Strong leadership and managerial skills with a focus on achieving positive patient outcomes.- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and evidence-based clinical practices.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.- Commitment to continuous quality improvement and patient safety.- Familiarity with budget management and financial principles in healthcare.

The Clinical Nurse Program Manager (CNPM) within the Shipley Medical Simulation Center is responsible for managing and coordinating clinical simulation education programs, simulation operations, and simulation related finances and budget. The CNPM ensures the deliver of high-quality simulation-based education across the organization and works in collaboration with the Simulation Center's Medical Director and other key stakeholders.
