Job Summary

Tampa General Hospital (TGH) has an exciting opportunity to join their dynamic team of Registered Dietitians (RDs). Our remarkably engaged team of registered dietitians provide timely world-class patient care through the application of standardized best practices, interdisciplinary team collaboration, and judicious use of technological advances to assess, educate, document, research and report their related interventions. This competent team of licensed professionals own advanced degrees and specialty certifications in diabetes, oncology, nephrology, nutrition support, transplant, and pediatrics. Their commitment to optimal nutrition care is extended to our community through our dedicated ambulatory team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics from an institution with an accredited program is required. Master's degree preferred. specialty certifications a plus
  • CDR Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist with the Commission on Dietetics Registration- RDN.
  • Licensure with the Dietetics and Nutrition Practice Council- Florida Department of Health- LDN.
  • One (1) year of experience in clinical settings is preferred. Will consider new graduates with demonstrable knowledge of clinical nutrition, and instructional techniques.
