Job Summary
Under general supervision of the medical staff, following policies, procedures and professional guidelines, assists with all procedures requiring the use of Cardio-Pulmonary Bypass, ECMO, Cell Saver and other related Bypass procedures. Provides, assembles and cares for all perfusion supplies, instruments and equipment before, during and after procedures, cleans and maintains all perfusion equipment, and assists perfusion team leader with ordering and stocking all perfusion supplies and equipment in the surgical suites. Administers medication under the direction of the physician. Responsible for performing Job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Required Skills
Graduate of an accredited Perfusion Training program. Current National certification from the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusionists required.
