Clinical Pharmacist

Job Location:

Reno, NV

Duration:

26 weeks

Shift Schedule:

8-hour variable shifts (hours are 8:00 AM to 07:00 PM on weekdays, 09:00 AM to 05:30 PM on weekends)

Summary:

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in the vibrant city of Reno, NV. Known for its beautiful landscapes and proximity to outdoor activities, Reno provides a perfect balance of work and leisure. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will have the chance to work across three state-of-the-art medical facilities, providing essential pharmaceutical care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

Provide counseling to patients on medication use and adherence.
Convert medications to formulary alternatives as needed.
Assist with new member onboarding processes.
Conduct medication reconciliation reviews.
Perform medication therapy management (MTM) work.
Work closely with patients managing Diabetes, COPD, and Asthma.

Required Skills:

Possession of a valid NV license, preferably with PGY1 residency.
Experience in patient counseling and medication management.
Proficiency in medication reconciliation and formulary conversion.
Ability to manage and support patients with chronic diseases such as Diabetes, COPD, and Asthma.
