For more information about the airport, check out their website here!About the Facility – Eloy ICE Detention CenterThe ICE facility at Eloy, AZ, also known as the Eloy Detention Center, is operated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). It serves as a detention facility for individuals awaiting immigration hearings or deportation. The center provides services such as legal visitation, medical care, and educational resources for detainees. Located in a remote area, it is a high-security facility that also offers access to family visitation. Additionally, it emphasizes detainee safety and well-being, while following federal regulations and ICE standards.Facility Address: 1705 E Hanna Rd, Eloy, AZ 85131Clinical Psychologist- RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)
- The Clinical Psychologist treats patients across the lifespan as appropriate to the facility setting.
- Respond to medical emergencies or coordinate responses as needed.
- Provide telehealth services as necessary, coordinating with local staff.
- Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and testing.
- Develop and monitor treatment plans in coordination with other healthcare professionals, such as behavioral health technicians.
- The Clinical Psychologist makes referrals for outside treatment facilities for patients requiring advanced care.
- Assist in detoxification procedures for chemically dependent individuals, providing orientation to medical staff on appropriate actions.
- Offer substance abuse education and group therapy as part of a comprehensive treatment approach.
- Serve as a consultant to other health professionals and provide education on mental health topics like suicide prevention and abuse.
- Facilitate contacts between the patient and their social support systems.
- The Clinical Psychologist ensures continuity of care in collaboration with HQ Behavioral Health Unit for residents as needed.
- Doctoral Degree in Psychology from a graduate program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
- Minimum one year of clinical practice at the licensed independent level as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Experience implementing or managing mental health treatment programs or a Modified Therapeutic Community treatment model.
- Hold a full, current, and unrestricted license in Arizona.
- Maintain BLS certification from the American Heart Association or client.
