Closing Childcare Teacher (9:30AM -6:30 PM)

Kids R Kids Houston Heights is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Closing Teacher to join our team. This role involves providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children during the closing hours of our daycare center, from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about early childhood education and committed to fostering children's development in a positive and engaging way.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children during closing hours.
• Implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• Prepare and maintain a clean, organized classroom setting.    
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff about children’s progress and daily activities.
• Maintain compliance with all state licensing and company policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in early childhood education or daycare environment preferred.
• Ability to engage and connect with children in a positive manner.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
• Passion for fostering a safe and supportive environment for young learners.
