This role will be performed on site in Huntsville, AL, with hybrid work option

Summit TRC is seeking to add a Cloud DevOps Engineer to our team. This engineer will play a vital role in maintaining, optimizing, and securing cloud based infrastructure. If you have relevant experience and you are motivated to solve complex problems in Defense, please apply.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform
Develop, manage, and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines
Administer and support cloud environments on Azure and/or AWS
Perform Linux and Windows system admin tasks
Apply DISA STIGs where necessary
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure
Support Kubernetes deployments and administration
Implement and manage cloud networking solutions
Implement best practices in cloud architecture, automation, and security

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years experience working with cloud technologies, including Azure and AWS
2+ years experience with Terraform
1+ years experience with Azure DevOps or GitLab
Proficiency in Kubernetes, Ansible, and PowerShell
Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Sec+ certification or Cloud certifications (Ex. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Admin) are a plus
