Job Description

Lead with Purpose- Implement Solutions- Make a Meaningful Impact
Are you a strong leader who thrives on balancing people management with strategic project execution? We're looking for a Program Manager / Project Manager to oversee a client service program while helping drive key initiatives across our organization. This role offers the opportunity to build a rewarding career while maintaining a healthy work-life balance, with a primarily Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm schedule. While occasional flexibility may be needed to address urgent client or employee matters outside of regular business hours, these situations are infrequent and the position is designed to support a sustainable and balanced work environment.
In this role, you'll serve as the primary leader for our Wisconsin Children's Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program, providing oversight, guidance, and support to both clients and staff. You'll also take ownership of special projects and organizational initiatives that support our programs throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin.
About the Wisconsin CLTS Program:
The Wisconsin Children's Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program helps children and youth with disabilities and their families access services and supports that promote inclusion, independence, and participation in their homes and communities.
What You'll Do:
Program Leadership & Oversight:
  • Provide leadership and operational oversight for our Wisconsin CLTS clients and staff.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with program requirements. Oversee client referrals, intake evaluations and onboardings.
  • Support, mentor, and develop team members through coaching, communication, and performance management. Participate in the onboarding and training of all staff members within the program.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, community partners, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor program performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions.
Project Management:
  • Lead and manage organizational projects, operational initiatives, and system implementations across multiple programs and service lines.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and process improvements that promote compliance, efficiency, and service excellence.
  • Collaborate with leadership, managers, and clinical staff to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and support successful regulatory reviews.
  • Evaluate program performance, identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and help drive the organization's strategic goals.
  • Provide staff training, guidance, and ongoing support related to operational standards, compliance requirements, and organizational initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience leading teams, programs, or complex projects is beneficial, though candidates with strong leadership potential and transferable experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in human services, disability services, healthcare, social services, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Prior project management experience is preferred; however, we welcome applicants who have demonstrated success coordinating initiatives, solving problems, and leading organizational efforts in other settings.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing needs.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Why Join Us?
  • Make a direct impact on the lives of children, families, and communities.
  • Lead meaningful programs while shaping organizational growth and innovation.
  • Work with a collaborative team dedicated to excellence and service.
  • Enjoy a dynamic role that combines leadership, strategy, and project execution.
Benefits:
  • Paid time off.
  • Medical insurance.
  • Dental Insurance.
  • Vision insurance.
  • Life insurance.
  • 401 K Plan with up to 3.5% employer match: (Employees are eligible for this plan if they work a minimum of 1000 hours within their first year of employment)
