Job Description

The Gardens Assisted Living at Luther Park Community is seeking a part-time Certified Med Aide/Med Manager for the 2p-10:30p EOW shift.

A Certified Medication Aide/Med Manager is an important member of the overall care team at the Gardens Assisted Living. While working under the direction of a nurse, CMA's administer medications, help with daily activities and assist residents in a home-like environment. CMA's also assist memory care residents by prompting, cueing, problem-solving and redirection. The CMA charts in electronic health records (Point Click Care) and helps maintain the safety and security of residents. CMA's also assist nursing personnel by providing routine CNA type duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Medication Aide certificate or Iowa's assisted living medication manager course certificate required
Must be able read, write and comprehend English fluently

A post offer employment physical, drug screen and background check are required.
