Job Description
Position Summary:We are seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. The CNA provides direct and indirect resident care activities under the supervision of a licensed nurse, ensuring the comfort, dignity, and safety of all residents at out 134 bed long term care facility.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
- Take and record vital signs as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents.
- Answer call bells promptly and respond to resident needs.
- Assist with meal service and feeding as needed.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
- Document care provided in accordance with facility policies.
Qualifications:
- Current CNA certification in the state of employment.
- Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
Schedule Options:
- Day, evening, and overnight shifts available.
- Weekend and holiday availability is required.
