Job Description

Essential Duties• Provide basic first aid for minor, non-emergent injuries in accordance with established procedures.• Respond promptly to workplace injuries and follow established procedures for documentation and escalation.• Ensure appropriate follow-up is coordinated with Occupational Health, Safety, or HR as needed.• Maintain accurate records related to first aid visits, injury response, and workers compensation.• Complete assigned projects, surveys, audits, and inspections as directed.• Maintain a consistent presence on the production floor with regular interaction on a daily/weekly basis.• Observe employee behaviors and work practices on the production floor and share observations related to safe work practices as appropriate.• Assist with tracking and follow up on corrective actions and share updates with the safety team as directed.• Assist with annual audiometric testing. • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions on third shift.• Assist employees with basic employee-related needs such as HRIS access and general process questions.• Route questions, concerns, or issues to the appropriate daytime team member.• Facilitate communication and understanding related to specific incidents, procedures, or identified needs.• Perform related administrative and support duties as assigned.

Job SpecificationsThis role requires a self-starter who can work independently and collaborate closely with operations, providing ongoing support to the Occupational Health, Safety, and HR teams to ensure employee safety and wellness. Organizational and administrative skills as well as the ability to work independently are essential. Must maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

Skills, Abilities, and EducationEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required.• Experience: One to two years of experience in employee support, healthcare support, manufacturing support, or a related environment preferred, or equivalent transferable experience.• Certifications: Current and valid First Aid and CPR certification required or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe following hire, with company provided training.• Technology: Experience using HRIS or employee self-service systems preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.• Skills and Abilities: o Demonstrated ability and willingness to provide basic first aid and respond calmly to minor, non-emergent injuries.o General understanding of safe work practices with a willingness to learn applicable safety requirements through training.o Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment with limited direct supervision.o Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information in a professional and discreet manner.o Ability to support limited, situation specific learning in small group settings, as directed.o Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.o Strong verbal and written communication skills.o Superior organizational, time-management, analytical, and decision-making skills to effectively evaluate, plan, and accomplish work goals.o Bilingual English/Spanish required.
