Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Medical Assistant (Entry-Level)
Location: Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $16/HR + DOE
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or a new Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This position will support our medical staff by assisting with rooming patients, taking vital signs, preparing medications, checking in/checking out patients, and providing additional support to the medical assistants. The role will also include tasks such as removing casts and splints, cleaning and stocking patient rooms, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Room patients and assist with patient intake procedures.
Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.).
Assist in medication preparation and administration as directed.
Help with patient check-in and check-out procedures.
Assist medical assistants with the removal of casts and splints.
Clean and maintain patient rooms between appointments.
Stock and organize medical supplies and equipment in patient rooms.
Provide general support to medical staff to ensure a smooth, efficient office environment.
Qualifications:
Current CNA certification or medical assistant certification (or in progress).
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Experience with patient care and office tasks preferred but not required.
Basic understanding of infection control and maintaining a clean workspace.
Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients for extended periods.
Ability to lift and move medical equipment or assist with patient movement as needed.
