A homemaker/companion provide non-medical home care which include: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminder, companionship, transportation to client's doctor appointment, errands, and light housekeeping and so much more! We travel to the any of the following areas: Sacramento, West, North and South Sacramento, Natomas, Woodland and Davis
We are hiring care providers who may have the skills and experience with Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board.
The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance. Our shift needs are all days of the week from Monday to Sunday: AM/PM and NOC (overnight)

Essential Responsibilities:
Performs personal care activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to): Assist with Dressing/Grooming
Ambulation/Transfers
Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
Performs light housekeeping activities
Medication reminders
Care of bed-bound clients
Use lifting equipment such as Gait Belts, Slide Boards and Hoyer Lifts
Provide Companionship
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
- Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check
- HCA Registration (We can assist at offer of employment)
- TB Skin test (can accept a completed TB test not older than 90 days)
