Job Description
CNC Lathe MachinistPay: $28-$32 DOEShift: 5am-1:30pm M-F | No weekendsLocation: Houston, TX 77081Start: ASAPResponsibilities & Qualifications
- Operate a 120" Fryer Combo Lathe with Siemens conversational controls.
- Machine 4140 and 4150 chromium alloy steel components.
- Work with large parts ranging from 1" diameter × 30" long to 6" diameter × 12' long.
- Load programs, set up machines, make adjustments, and edit programs as needed.
- Read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers.
- Have 3–5 years of CNC lathe experience.
- Be self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to learn independently through computer-based training.
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
Preferred Experience
- CNC programming, compressor and reciprocating equipment parts, piston rods, and shafts.
- Training available for programming.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
