Job Description
We are currently seeking an individual who takes pride in their work and delivers high quality workmanship to join a growing team at a leading manufacturing facility in Walhalla, SC! Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC Lathes
- Efficient operation of CNC equipment
- Review assignments to ensure programs, tooling, and materials are ready prior to machine set-up
- Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, comparator
- Read and interpret Mechanical Engineering Drawings
- 3+ years of experience in machine operation preferred
- Experience with machining plastics, aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.
- Able to hold and maintain tight tolerances when required.
- Able to work in quick paced machine shop environment.
- Must be self-motivated
- Must have the ability to work independently
- Must be willing to learn
