CNC Lathe Operator

Location: Painesville, OHPay: $25.00 – $29.00/hr (DOE – higher for the right experience)Shift: Full-Time

Hire Sync is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join a well-established precision manufacturing team in Painesville. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist who takes pride in quality work, enjoys working with precision equipment, and has experience in a production machining environment.

This role supports high-precision machining operations producing quality components for industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have strong lathe experience, the ability to work independently, and a solid understanding of machine setup and inspection processes.

What You’ll Do:

Set up and operate vertical and/or horizontal CNC lathes in a production environment
Work with Mori Seiki and/or Doosan machines (experience strongly preferred)
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
Make machine adjustments, offsets, and basic edits as needed to maintain quality
Use precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet tight tolerances
Maintain production flow while ensuring quality standards are consistently met
Keep work area clean, organized, and safe

What we’re Looking For:

Strong experience operating CNC lathes (vertical or horizontal)
Hands-on experience with Mori Seiki and/or Doosan equipment preferred
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Skilled in using precision inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced machining environment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
