CNC Machinist / Operator 1st ShiftLocation: Hastings, NEPay: $20.00 $26.00 per hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Monday Thursday, 6: 30 AM 5: 00 PM | Overtime on Fridays as neededJob Type: Full-TimeJob DescriptionAssociated Staffing is hiring a CNC Machinist / Operator for a manufacturing company in Hastings, NE! This opportunity offers competitive pay of $20 $26 per hour, a four-day workweek with potential Friday overtime and a $1, 500 sign-on bonus upon permanent hire.Our client manufactures reusable shipping and transit cases for industries including aerospace, defense, medical technology, robotics and advanced electronics.As a CNC Machinist / Operator, you will operate CNC equipment to manufacture precision components while maintaining quality and safety standards. Previous CNC experience is preferred but not required! Candidates with an Associate Degree in CNC Machining, Manufacturing Technology or a related field are encouraged to apply, as training is available.Job Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines to manufacture precision components according to specifications.
Load materials, monitor machining operations and ensure accurate production.
Read and interpret work orders, technical drawings and manufacturing instructions.
Inspect finished parts using calipers, tape measures and other precision measuring tools.
Monitor product quality and identify potential machining issues.
Maintain CNC equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
Follow established safety procedures and ISO 9001: 2015 quality standards.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet customer specifications and production goals.

Qualifications

Associate Degree in CNC Machining, Manufacturing Technology or a related field required.
Previous CNC machining experience preferred but not required;training is available for qualified candidates.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain quality standards.
Excellent attendance, dependability and reliability.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

$1, 500 Sign-On Bonus Upon Permanent HireEmployees hired permanently by the company may qualify for a $1, 500 sign-on bonus, paid in three installments:

$500 after 90 days Good attendance required.
$500 after 180 days Must meet performance and attendance expectations.
$500 at one-year anniversary Must remain actively employed and in good standing.
