Job Description

CNC MachinistLocation: Columbus, NEPay: $25-32/hour DOEShift: 1st ShiftSchedule: Full-TimeIf you take pride in producing precision parts and enjoy working with advanced machining equipment, this is the opportunity you've been looking for. We're seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a growing team where your skills are valued, your attention to detail matters and quality is the standard.What You'll Do
  • Set up, operate, and maintain Mazak CNC lathes, mills, grinders and manual machining equipment.
  • Machine raw materials into finished components while maintaining close tolerances and exceptional quality.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and CAD files.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers and bore gauges.
  • Complete machine setups, tooling changes and required production documentation.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of Tool Room Machining experience or equivalent technical education and training.
  • Experience operating CNC lathes and mills with Mazak, Haas, Fanuc or similar controls.
  • Strong manual machining and tooling setup experience.
  • Knowledge of G-code programming.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances and machine offsets.
