Job Description

CNC Machinist – $20–$28/hr – Multiple Day Shifts Available

Are you an experienced CNC Machinist with a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision? Well-established manufacturing facilities are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join their teams. In this role, you’ll set up and operate CNC equipment to produce high-quality parts in a fast-paced production environment. If you’re mechanically inclined and enjoy working with advanced machining technology, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (mills, lathes, or other equipment)
Perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
Load and secure workpieces manually or with automatic feeders
Start machine cycles, adjust settings, and inspect finished parts for quality
Maintain accurate production records and document process or quality issues
Meet production goals and manage time efficiently
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, wearing required safety gear
Operate a forklift occasionally after training
Lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 80 lbs
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (technical/vocational training preferred)
Prior CNC machining experience required
Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Dependable, with good communication skills
Physically able to stand for long periods and lift required weights
CNC programming, multi-axis machining, or lean manufacturing experience is a plus
