Description

Bring your machining expertise to North Dakota and make a real impact fabricating large carbon steel parts. This CNC Machinist / Lathe & Mill Programmer opportunity is based in Park River, ND, with an onsite role and relocation likely required, joining a flexible, approachable family-owned shop.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Machinist/ Lathe & Mill Programmer position include:

Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience; independently program and operate CNC lathes and mills.
Turn on and operate the Flex CNC, 1026 Milltronics Lathe, two Milltronics milling machines, and the Haas VF 7/50.
Conversational and M-code programming experience.
Understand tooling, fixturing/hold down clamps and jigs, and follow tool path setup and logic.
Use BobCAD-CAM to find current programs by part number, adjust programs, and set up machining for modified or new parts.
Locate and run the correct programs from the database on each machine and update machining as needed.
Sharpen tooling or change out carbides to stay within part quality specifications.
Clock into JobBoss for accurate time tracking on each job; keep a clean, safe work area and work independently while collaborating during heavy demand.

Salary: $32-$40/hr based on experience.
