CNC Machinist

A manufacturing company is seeking a skilled, quality‑focused Machinist to support daily production, machine setup, and specialized customer projects. This role involves working with both CNC and conventional equipment across a variety of materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and materials
• Calculate speeds, feeds, and machining parameters
• Verify part accuracy and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Troubleshoot machining and assembly issues with engineering and production teams
• Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives

Qualifications

• Associate degree, apprenticeship completion, or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years in a manufacturing or job‑shop environment
• Ability to run and set up CNC and manual equipment
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
• Experience working in a quality‑driven environment
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and machining math
