Job Description

New Era Staffing & HR Solutions is hiring a CNC Machinist for one of our manufacturing clients in Kent, WA. This role supports day-to-day machining operations across a variety of equipment, including conventional lathes, CNC mills, and 5-axis machines. Its a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, experienced, and comfortable working in a precision-driven manufacturing environment.

Position: CNC MachinistLocation: Kent, WAPay: $38 $42/hour (DOE)Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7AM - 3:30PMBenefits Offered: Paid Weekly, Paid Training, Paid Sick Leave, Affordable Healthcare Plan, Simple IRA (401K)Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate conventional/manual lathes and CNC machines
Run and adjust 5-axis machining centers
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications
Perform precision machining to tight tolerances on various materials
Select tooling, set offsets, and make program edits as needed
Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
Maintain accurate documentation and production records
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

5+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong experience with Conventional/manual lathes, CNC machining (mills and/or lathes), 5-axis machining preferred
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and specifications
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
