We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist. The machinist would be programming and operating a Haas VF- 6/40 Vertical Mill. Candidates must have 2+ years of proven experience in this field. Please apply and provide a resume if interested, these positions are immediate hire! Pay is $25-$35 an hour based on experience.
- Shift: 1st shift available. 6:00am- 2:45pm. Monday -Friday
- Pay: $25-35 an hour based on previous experience.
- Needs to know G- code and M- Code
- Smartcam and Solidworks Knowledge
- Overtime is Available
- Weekly Pay!
Requirements
Requirements of Machinist
- Proven experience as a skilled machinist (CNC machining).
- Strong ability to read and interpret prints, measurements, tolerances, and materials.
- Strong math skills (geometry, trigonometry, shop math).
- Experience with G- & M-Codes, SolidWorks CAM, and CNC programming preferred.
- Must follow safety practices and maintain accurate documentation.
- At least 2 years of CNC machining experience preferred.
Job duties of Machinist
- Interpret and execute machining plans using work orders, blueprints, GD&T, orthographic drawings, and engineering notes.
- Program, set up, and operate CNC equipment (Haas VF-6/40).
- Configure tools, vices, and fixtures for high- and low-volume production.
- Enter and adjust CNC programs including zero/reference points, offsets, tool registers, and compensation settings.
- Validate setups and accuracy by inspecting first-run parts and sample parts.
- Inspect finished parts using proper measuring equipment to confirm tolerances.
- Handle staging and sorting of completed parts for next operations.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance and troubleshoot machine faults.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform additional duties as required.
