CNC Machinist Job Description

The CNC Machinist is responsible for operating CNC milling machines, lathes, and other machine tools to produce precision parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC programming and machining principles, as well as experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, and other machine tools to produce precision parts
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Program CNC machines using CAM software
  • Inspect parts for accuracy and quality
  • Make adjustments to CNC programs as needed
  • Maintain CNC machines and tooling

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in CNC Machining or related field
  • 5+ years of experience operating CNC machines
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining principles
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
