CNC Machinist

Pay Range: $26–$29/hr

Location: Broomfield, CO

Hours: 1st Shift: M-F: 6:30 a .m. - 3 p.m. 

Position Type: Contract-to-Hire

How you'll spend your time as a CNC Machinist:

  • Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts per technical drawings.
  • Set up machines, load materials, and monitor for issues.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and production records.
  • Identify and report defective materials or equipment concerns.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, including lubricants and coolants.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet production goals.

Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a CNC Machinist:

  • High school diploma or technical certification required.
  • 2+ years of related machining experience required.
  • Proficient operating CNC machines and reading blueprints/technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and feed/speed parameters.
  • Experienced with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Multi-axis CNC and CAD/CAM software experience preferred.
  • G Code programming knowledge preferred.
