CNC MachinistPay:$20.00 $35.00 per hour(DOE)Location:Tulsa, OK 74117Shift:Monday Friday | 7: 00 AM 3: 00 PMJob Type:Temp-to-HireJob Order #:126329Position OverviewStand-By Personnel is seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join a growing manufacturing team in Tulsa. This position offers opportunities for machinists of varying experience levels, from setup technicians to fully independent machinists capable of programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment without assistance.The ideal candidate has experience with CNC machining, strong blueprint reading skills, and a commitment to producing precision-machined parts while maintaining quality and safety standards.Required Experience & Skills Previous CNC machining experience required (experience level determines starting pay) Ability to perform CNC machine setups independently Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and machining specifications Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a teamEssential Duties & Responsibilities Set up CNC machines for production runs according to job specifications Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings Adjust machine settings and tooling to ensure optimal performance and precision For advanced machinists, write, edit, and optimize CNC programs as required Perform in-process and final quality inspections to verify finished parts meet specifications Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot machining issues when necessary Maintain accurate production records and communicate equipment concerns to supervisors Keep machines, tooling, and work areas clean, organized, and safe Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing practicesPreferred Qualifications Experience programming CNC machines independently Knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and production optimization Experience in precision manufacturing or custom machining environmentsPhysical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement throughout the shift Ability to safely operate CNC machinery while wearing required PPE Comfortable working around industrial equipment, cutting tools, and machining operationsWork Environment Precision CNC machine shop and manufacturing facility Fast-paced production environment focused on quality, accuracy, and efficiency Exposure to CNC machinery, cutting tools, coolant systems, and industrial equipment Collaborative workplace offering opportunities for continued technical development and career advancementWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive pay ranging from $20.00 $35.00/hour, based on experience and skill level Stable Monday Friday first-shift schedule Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Weekly pay Opportunity to advance from CNC setup into programming and independent machining roles Work with modern CNC equipment in a growing precision manufacturing environmentReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PM
