Job Description
Summary:
A manufacturing company in West Palm Beach is looking to hire an experienced CNC Machinist for their team. The position is primarily responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills for medium to large parts.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines with 3, 4, and 5 axes with fanuc controls
- Keep production logs up to date and carry out required tasks.
- Produce parts for different machines, sometimes repeating the same part run.
- Select appropriate inserts, tools, and fixtures for machines.
- Use CAD files as required for the production process.
- Control various machine settings to complete tasks effectively.
- Collaborate with the Quality Inspector to ensure parts meet drawing specifications.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist is preferred.
- Thorough understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
Preferred:
- Previous mill experience is preferred.
- Previous experience with Mastercam is a plus.
- Fanuc control fluency
