Job Description
IMKO Workforce Solutions is seeking a CNC Machinist for a growing fabrication shop in Brookings. Candidates must have deburring experience, experience working with metals, and an understanding of blueprints.Preferred 2 years experience in CNC machining. Requirements of CNC Machinists:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 year degree in a related area strongly preferred
- Good attitude and understands and adheres to company values
- Programming ability, the ability to make basic adjustments to machines
- 2 years+ of CNC machining experience required
- Deburring experience required
- Familiarity with using a caliper and a micrometer
- Mathematical reasoning ability
- Able to read blue prints
- Excellent attendance
- Physical ability to perform the needs of the job, including able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Pays between $23-27/hour depending on experience
- An excellent benefits package is available, including medical, dental, vision, 401k and tuition reimbursement
- An air conditioned shop
- Flexibility for 2 shifts, including a $1 shift differential for 2nd or 3rd shift
- 2nd shift: 3:30 PM – 2 AM Mon-Thurs
- 3rd shift: 6 AM – 6:30pm Friday-Sunday (this shift gets paid for 40 hours)
- Opportunity for overtime is available
- Reviews documents showing production needs and ensures parts are created to meet those needs
- Sets up and operates machines
- Performs frequent set-ups as is necessary for production needs
- Meets safety, cleanliness, and quality standards
