Job Description

GENERAL DUTIES

  • Sets up and operates equipment.
  • Reads prints, programs, work orders, or production schedules to determine specifications.
  • Able to use inspection/measuring equipment, such as micrometers and bore gauges.
  • Checks parts as specified in the In-Process Record.
  • Ensure production rates are met.
  • Maintains tool matrix.
  • Loads raw material.
  • Maintains equipment fluids.
  • Performs daily and weekly preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Maintains excellent work attendance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2-3 years related experience and/ or training.
  • Experience with manual or CNC (Swiss-type lathe) equipment preferred.
  • Understanding of G-Code required.
  • Must Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to stand, walk and lift for up to 8 hours daily.
  • Vision abilities requires close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth
  • Required to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs. continually.
  • May be required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Moderately loud noise levels in plant environment.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
