CNC Operator - Avon Lake, OH (First Shift)

What You'll Do

As a CNC Operator at our Avon Lake facility, you'll be a vital part of our machining team. You will operate CNC machines and machining centers to produce high-quality metallic and nonmetallic parts according to specifications. Your role is focused on machine operation-you won't be responsible for machine setup-but you will ensure parts are fabricated accurately and efficiently.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Operating CNC and other machining equipment according to standard operating procedures, Make Adjustments as necessary in vary CNC equipment.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and part specifications to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Inspecting finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
• Documenting production and inspection results as required
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Following all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE
• Adhering to work schedules including start/end times, breaks, and cleanup periods

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions
• Basic shop math skills
• Experience with micrometers, calipers, or other precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Physical ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs. regularly
• Willingness to learn and follow processes carefully
