This is a hands-on position for someone who thrives on variety and technical challenges.

More Than Machine Operation: This is a CNC set-up machinist role, not a position focused only on loading parts and pushing a cycle-start button. • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and CAD files to produce high-quality parts.
  • Optimize speeds, feeds, and tooling to ensure part quality and maximize tool life.
  • Operate Fanuc and HEIDENHAIN controls to run and adjust programs during machining.
  • Select and adjust tooling for efficient material removal and repeatable results.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues independently and collaborate with team members as needed.
  • Use appropriate inspection equipment to verify part conformance to specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Follow established safety practices and properly use required safety equipment.

  • Strong blueprint reading skills, including GD&T, with the ability to translate drawings into accurate setups and finished parts within required tolerances.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc and/or HEIDENHAIN controls preferred.
  • Confident working with work offsets (G54, etc.) and multiple coordinate systems.
  • Strong tooling selection, setup, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must demonstrate a desire and willingness to learn and grow and be an independent thinker.
