CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist/ProgrammerSetting/Hours: 100% In-Office | First ShiftJoin trak group in partnering with a growing client in Northern Kentucky, that’s expanding its Manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Set up and program Swiss and other CNC lathes.
- Write and edit programs for Citizen and Ganesh machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical data, and machining sequences.
- Mount, align, and secure tooling and workpiece materials.
- Monitor machine displays and operations to detect malfunctions.
- Perform quality inspections and accurately record results.
- Conduct minor repairs and routine machine maintenance, including oil and lubrication changes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Complete job documentation and quality control checkpoints.
- Operate power tools such as drills, grinders, and metal saws.
- Experience programming and setting up CNC Swiss lathes (Citizen and Ganesh).
- Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and machining diagrams.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push/pull, and lift up to 40 lbs.
