  • Characterize products, electrolytes, and electrodes using complementary analytical techniques.
  • Analyze, visualize, and quality-control experimental data.
  • Troubleshoot instruments, workflows, and data issues.
  • Maintain thorough, well-organized experimental documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering, software, and data teams on workflow improvements.
  • Communicate findings, issues, and next steps clearly to the team.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on electrochemistry experience, including electrodeposition, CV, CP, CA, EIS, LSV, or OCP.
  • Experience with characterization techniques for electrolytes and electrodes, such as ICP, conductivity, pH, surface roughness, or related measurements.
  • Experience handling corrosive or high-temperature solutions safely.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and visualization.
  • Self-driven and able to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving research environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in hands-on technical work.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting scientific work.

Bonus Points For

  • Exposure to autonomous or automated experimental workflows.
  • Interest in advancing autonomous laboratory operations.
  • Familiarity with HPLC, GC, FTIR, or related analytical techniques.
  • Rapid prototyping experience.
  • Prior research experience in electrochemistry, and electroanalytical techniques.
